Ian Ellison writes: "Mark Mustill and myself started in the lower sixth at the Institute expecting to spend the next two years studying at the Institute for university. We both were legitimately elected to be the next deputy head boy and head boy respectively, but the school closed at the end of the first year, before we could see the letters painted on the board."
