Form ?, circa 1920Place your cursor over a face to display a name. ![]() ![]() Photo provided by Sara ThomasSara, writes:I've been sorting through some photos relating to my father, L.M. Fraser (No. 17 above), and my uncle, his younger brother R.H.E. Fraser, and came upon one which I believe to be class photos of the Liverpool Institute. The photo of 28 young men with their headmaster from at latest the early 1920s with surnames and signatures on the back (it's postcard size). The headmaster looks like your H.V. Whitehouse with full beard. Confirmation that my father was at the Liverpool Institute comes from the Wikipedia entry for Lindley Macnaghten Fraser. Note:According to the Liverpool Institute Old Boys' Association Members List 1958, L.M. Fraser left the school in 1922. In 1958 he is listed as Prof. L.M. Fraser, Director of German Broadcasts, B.B.C., London. |
